Alright... well it is the evening of the 15th.. and we’re still here in London. For months (actually almost a year) we planned on leaving today. And now that the day arrived.. we’re still here.
I think it has been hardest on pride as I like to do something when I set my sights on it.. but seriously, God is humbling me man.. you have no idea! LOL We keep being reminded that this is His trip.. that our plans... poof out the window.. and we have to go with that. Afterall, that was our prayer and desire.. now I’m learning easier said than done! ha ha ha!
But staying today gave us extra time to do all the stuff we never properly got a chance to do. Like open and clean the Landy gear (rooftent, awning, fridge, etc), pack in all our gear and equipment in an organized way, have one last dinner with Nick and Lana at our shared favorite Hare and Tortoise and take care of logistics we never got a chance to take care of.
So it has been good... but man, I am tired of logistics and just can not wait to get on the road. Hopefully we can get an early start in the morning.
